UNITED SIKHS: Panjab Flood Relief 2025 Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives.
Since the onset of the 2025 floods, UNITED SIKHS has been on the ground in Panjab standing with affected communities and delivering critical relief. What began as an emergency response has grown into a sustained humanitarian mission. In direct response to grassroots appeals, 11 flood-affected villages in Ferozepur have been formally adopted by UNITED SIKHS for sustained recovery and support.
Over the past 5 to 7 days, our teams have conducted intensive field assessments across these villages, gathering critical data to guide targeted interventions and ensure that aid reaches those who need it most.
Agricultural Aid: Reviving Rural Livelihoods
Floodwaters disrupted the agricultural resources of thousands. UNITED SIKHS responded with targeted input support:
- 4,500 acres treated with fertilizer
- 2,000 acres seeded for the next crop cycle
- 6,000 liters of diesel distributed to power farming operations
These interventions are helping farmers reclaim their fields and prepare for the next harvest restoring not just crops, but hope.
Housing Recovery: Rebuilding with Dignity
Shelter remains the most urgent need. Our field teams documented a significant number of homes requiring intervention:
- Nearly fifty homes in need of minor or major reconstruction
- Several homes fully destroyed and slated for complete rebuilding
Behind every damaged home is a story of resilience interrupted. UNITED SIKHS is committed to restoring shelter and dignity, rebuilding not just structures, but the lives and futures they protect.

From fueling tractors to distributing food, and essential supplies, UNITED SIKHS volunteers are working around the clock. These efforts reflect a promise of sustained recovery and resilience across our adopted villages.
