UNITED SIKHS, already working in Pakistan for over a decade, needed to quickly mobilize resources and provide humanitarian and medical aid to those most affected by the floods, especially in hard-to-reach areas. Their mission was to deliver life-saving assistance to the displaced families and provide critical medical treatment to those suffering from waterborne diseases and infections.
UNITED SIKHS swiftly deployed teams to flood-affected regions such as Charsadda district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmore district in Sindh. Volunteers distributed food, water, and mosquito kits to over 200 homeless families in Bagan Wah. Led by Dr. Sagarjeet Singh, the medical team treated over 400 patients, addressing malaria, gastroenteritis, skin diseases, and other conditions. Additionally, a 3-day medical camp was organized in the Kalam Valley of Swat, reaching 500+ families with essential food and aid supplies. The team is actively working with the government to secure air access to Jafarabad in Balochistan for further relief efforts.
