While daily wage earners have been most affected by the crisis, UNITED SIKHS will continue to work with local authorities to call for peace. As an associate of the United Nations Dept. of Public Information, we are grateful for our partnerships with Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Shillong Police and Fire Brigade, Guru Nanak Gurdwara and the community of local NGOs. |

UNITED SIKHS will strive towards bridging all affected parties together to establish a long-term resolution to the crisis. As a global human rights advocacy organization, we are grateful authorities are actively working together to ensure a swift return to daily life is achieved and maintained. We are humbled by the opportunity to serve the people of Shillong upon their request and thank our supporters for their contributions to our ongoing relief efforts. |
